Alberto Peña is Head of Business Development for Europe at BW Ideol since May 2022 and his main role in the company is to promote BW IDEOL’s internationally recognized and patented floating wind technology and setting up co-development and EPCI partnerships with key players in this region. Previously, he spent more than 18 years in Siemens Gamesa (today Siemens Energy) where he held different management positions related to development and sale of wind projects.
Educated in Spain and the UK, Alberto has an Industrial Engineering Degree from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) and executive MBA from the European Business School and over 20 years of project development and senior management experience in the wind industry.
