Professor Sergio Camporeale is a professor of Clean Energy Systems and Fluid Machinery at the Polytechnic University of Bari (Italy). He has held a number of research and academic roles at the university. He currently serves as Rector’s Delegate for Teaching and Education and Head of the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He serves as the scientist responsible for the Offshore Renewables and Energy Harvesting line of the NEST (Network for Energy Sustainable Technologies) project, which is part of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) funded by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU program. He has authored over 140 scientific papers and serves on the scientific and technical committees of conferences on energy systems, renewables, and ocean energy.
