Payment for the event subscription must be made in full at the time of registration. Refunds will not be issued for any reason. Registrations are made at your own risk and we cannot take responsibility for registrations booked in error. This responsibility lies with your organization or you if you are booking as a private individual. Furthermore, WESI will not refund the registration fee or any other costs should you register in error and fail to cancel with adequate cancellation notice.
Registration and/or admittance to FLOATMED 2024 shall be limited solely to participants who are 18 years of age or older, due to current health and safety regulations and legislation in effect. Any registration by anyone who is under 18 is unauthorized and in violation of these Terms and Conditions and will automatically result in the forfeit of their registration. You hereby accept that identification is to be provided upon request. By registering to the event you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, and that you agree to and to abide by all of the Terms and Conditions.
The event subscription may be canceled at any time by either party with written notice. However, no refunds will be issued for any remaining event sessions.
The subscriber is responsible for attending all sessions included in the event subscription. Missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.
The event subscription is non-transferable and may not be shared with others.
The event organizer will always try to carry out the event as closely as possible to the program, but changes may occur. The event organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, content, or speakers without prior notice.
WESI may cancel the event in the case of force majeure, insufficient registration, or the like. When an event is cancelled, Floatmed, if possible, will notify the participants without delay. If the event is cancelled, the entire registration fee will be refunded. Participants are not entitled to compensation for financial or non-financial losses beyond this.
Subscribers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner during all event sessions.
The event organizer is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred by the subscriber during the event.
All content presented during the event sessions is the intellectual property of the event organizer and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
Photos may be taken of participants at Floatmed. These images may be used in WESI’s publications, website or other media related to our activities. If you wish to opt out of being photographed, you must inform us about this upon registration or before the event begins.
By registering for this event, you (the registrant) agree that your personal data will be processed by WESI (6940 Mumford Rd Suite 504, Halifax, NS, B3L0B7) for registration and handling purposes, as well as to send you information in connection with all FloatMed events. Any personal data will be treated according to our “Privacy and Cookie Policy”. If you do not submit the data indicated as “required”, we cannot complete your registration.
These terms and conditions are governed by the Canadian laws and any disputes will be settled in accordance with those laws.
